OtterBox Elevation 64 Growler

Generally speaking, once a company finds a niche, they rarely venture far from it. As the saying goes, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. OtterBox, however, has recently been expanding into new products like their Elevation 64 Growler.

Yes. You read that right. The brand famous for keeping your expensive smartphone safe has ventured out into the broader outdoor market. Earlier this year they released their first cooler – an apparent attempt to take on Yeti – and now they’re rolling out a 100% stainless steel 64-ounce growler. Each one boasts an internal copper lining that will keep your beer  at the ideal temperature, a leak-proof lid for worry free transportation, and a sweat resistant design. While this move may seem like a bit of a deviation from the OtterBox’s main identity and skill-set, it’s actually a kind of return. Back in the 1990s, OtterBox’s first product was a rugged dry-box meant for camping. Now, with more than 20 years of experience under their belt, it looks as if they’re set to produce some of the best growlers and coolers out there.
