Orfos Flare Bike Lights

Not many people have said at 2am, “I need to clear my head. I’m gonna go for a bike ride.” And why not? Because you’re asking to be roadkill. So when we heard about the “safest bike lights ever,” our interest was piqued.

Orfos’ Flare Bike Lights feature 360 degrees of visibility courtesy their clear polycarbonate shell and reflective interior. Nine half-watt LEDs send out between 300 lumens (red flare) and 500 lumens (white flare), with four light patterns and three brightness modes to choose from. The lights are waterproof to 50 feet (more so for riding in the rain than trying to peddle through a lake), and the magnetic mounting system uses N52-grade neodymium magnets. Oh, and the internal rechargeable battery is a LiFePO4 cell, which is the safest high capacity battery chemistry in existence. [Purchase]
