After the immense success and popularity of the original ÖÖD House prefab structure, the project’s creators, Estonian brothers, Jaak and Andreas Tiik have doubled down with the introduction of a new, more affordable prefab cabin range that can be shipped to practically anywhere on earth.
Translating to “Nights House,” the ÖÖD Houses offer 113-square-foot of living space, with multiple internal room dividers, floor to ceiling windows, and a mirrored external facade that allows the structure to seamlessly blend into its surroundings. Starting from around $22,000, three of these cabins can fit inside a single 40’ shipping container, meaning transporting the structure is as cost-efficient as the ÖÖD House itself. In total, the company offers five separate versions, with one designed for hotels and retreats and another intended for home office use. In a bid to make these cabins all the more accessible, ÖÖD House says its cabins will soon be available for purchase via Amazon.
