Onewheel+ Street Snowboard

Snowboarding is one of our favorite activities. The problem with it, however, is that unless you live in the great white north, the sport is relegated to the winter months. And there’s really not much out there that simulates it in any real way. Even skateboarding and surfing, though fellow board sports, operate entirely differently. That’s what makes us so excited about the Onewheel+ – it looks to be the closest thing to year-round snowboarding ever envisioned.

Based off of the company’s first generation Onewheel, the plus improves upon its counterpart in a few notable ways, while still remaining loyal to the original idea. For starters, the styling is a lot more fluid, with refined curves replacing the boxy edges of its predecessor. This version is also equipped with an entirely redesigned Hypercore onboard motor, which has a maximum speed of up to 19 mph. It’s also fitted with LiFePo4 lithium batteries, which give it a range of 5-7 miles, power the onboard LED head and tail lights, and can be charged in just 20 minutes. It even comes with an app that lets you tune your Onewheel+ with what the brand is calling Digital Shaping. And the whole impressive package costs just $1,499. [Purchase]
