Since appearing on Shark Tank late last year, Rumpl has gone on to work with everyone from NFL teams to National Parks. And here’s the thing: in each case, the California-based blanket specialist has managed to honor its signature outdoor aesthetic whilst nevertheless adapting to the needs of its associates.
And Rumpl’s latest collaboration with Olukai is no exception. Comprised of a Shammy Towel and a Puffy Blanket, it sees each piece finished in a variety of vibrant Hawaiian hues. When it comes to the former, you’re getting a super-absorbent blend of polyester and spandex that’s quick-drying, clinger-repellent, and as soft as can be. Oh, and being a Rumpl, it’s obviously plenty packable, a feature that allows for efficient transport and storage. The blanket, though, is what originally put the brand on the map, and it’s easy to see why when you consider all that it has to offer. Made from 100% recycled ripstop and insulated using the same materials found in sleeping bags, it’s eco-conscious, water-resistant, and incredibly warm for its weight. Much more than your run-of-the-mill blanket, however, it even comes with an integrated cape clip and a set of corner loops.
Regardless of which Rumpl x Olukai piece you choose, just know that there are no wrong moves. Between the premium construction and the Island-inspired designs, each item is a true cut above the rest. You can buy the Shammy Towel and Puffy Blanket now for $49 and $129 respectively.
