When industry leaders from two different genres come together for a collaborative effort, it’s newsworthy. This is made even more true when said industry leaders are the famed Los-Angeles eyewear brand, Oliver Peoples, and its esteemed audio-savvy counterpart, Master & Dynamic. As it turns out, the pair have joined forces for an aesthetically-pleasing collection of luxury, acetate-laden accessories.
The Oliver Peoples x Master & Dynamic collection is one for the ages, calling upon three custom Oliver Peoples acetates (produced by revered Italian manufacturer, Mazzucchelli), to adorn the brands’ OP-505 sunglasses, MW65 Active Noise-Cancelling Wireless headphones, and MW07 PLUS True Wireless earphones. These limited-edition offerings will boast an array of colors inspired by WWII-era audio accessories and vintage eyewear, complementing their filigreed detailing, 18-karat plated gold and metal detailing. Dive deeper and you’ll find that M&D’s MW65 headphones have been finished in finely-applied acetate detailing, pairing nicely with the brand’s similarly-styled MW07 Plus over-ear offerings. To round things out, a limited-edition set of Oliver People’s OP-505 sunglasses remain largely similar to their 1987 counterparts, paying homage to the rise of the brand’s vintage eyewear segment. Head to Master & Dynamic/Oliver Peoples’ respective websites on November 12th to see the collection in more detail.
