Ever wonder what the nautical counterpart to a formidable Overland vehicle might be? For many, that parallel isn’t easily drawn. However, thanks to the efforts of Officina Armare, we’re finally able to visualize what that could look like, thanks, in large part, to its Aquanaut Exploration Yacht.
The Aquanaut Exploration Yacht is a gigantic 60-foot ship that’s got a bone to pick with the world’s most distant waterways. Developed in collaboration with U-Boat Worx, this boxy, on-water vessel draws inspiration from one of the Overlanding world’s most sought-after platforms: the Ford Bronco. Not only does it introduce a well-balanced silhouette that’s been heavily-informed by the SUV, but it also boasts the same spirit for wanderlust, calling upon two 800-horsepower Volvo Penta IPS 1050 engines, a stable, hydrodynamic design, and an expansive storage area for all your favorite exploration vehicles. If you’re not enjoying your time within one of the boat’s many open areas, or want some time away from your peers, you’ll be able to hop into U-Boat Worx’s Nemo Submarine — a miniature model catered toward immersive underwater observation. Head to Officina Armare’s website for a closer look at the proposed $3,000,000 platform.
