Oakley Carbon Prime MotoGP Sunglasses
There’s only one thing that could make this pair of carbon fiber Oakley sunglasses any cooler – that is if they came stock with a MotoGP sport bike they’re positioned to pay homage towards. It’s a one-of-a-kind collaboration between the two powerhouse brands, honoring the technical experience of each, in a pair of shades unlike anything we’ve seen before.
Taking inspiration from the sport, each pair of sunglasses are built with the same precision of that of a superbike. Take a closer look at the sunglasses and you’ll see what we mean. For example, they’re made from Oakley’s carbon O Matter – featuring the same materials used in constructing racing bikes – and host a frame design with titanium components complete with piston hinges that allude to shock absorbers. In addition, each pair boasts no-slip grip rubber stem sleeves and nose pads that resemble the rubber of slick racing tires and their Prizm technology lenses optimize colors for a fine-tuned viewing experience while riding. Only 100 are set to be produced so be sure to drop them a line sooner rather than later if interested. No word on pricing just yet.
