Oak & Oscar first broke out into the scene last year with their flagship timepiece, the Burnham. Offered in a limited edition of 300, that watch quickly sold out in less that a year after its release. Luckily, the Chicago-based brand is ready to release yet another installment to their American-assembled collection. This time, it’s a GMT watch called the Sandford.
Each Sandford is a 40mm watch featuring an independent GMT hand and a rotating inner bezel. It hosts Swiss automatic Soprod movement within the custom-designed case and under the charcoal grey sandwich dial. Dark grey hands and an orange second hand provide a nice contrast to the color palate with the GMT hand boasting an arrowhead-shaped top with a matte counterbalance at the opposite end. It’s water resistant up to 100 meters, features double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and comes with a tapered, Horween leather strap with signed buckle. And much like the Burnham, there are only 300 pieces available (200 in stainless steel and 100 in charcoal PVD). Orders are slated to ship this fall. Prices start at $1,750. [Purchase]
