While all the other smartphone brands are focused on creating bezel-less, notch-free designs, Nubia is living in the future with their dual-screen smartphone. The Nubia X smartphone has a simple, ingenious design, eliminating the need for a front-facing camera.

The main screen is a 6.26-inch LCD with a 2,280 x 1,090 resolution and the rear panel is an OLED screen with a 1,520 x 720 resolution. The second OLED screen allows you to take selfies at optimal angles so you can capture the best shots possible, decreasing the chances of awkward photos. When you’re not using the smartphone’s second convenient display, it completely disappears, blending into the colorful glass back of the device. And, according to Nubia, the camera’s portrait mode will utilize AI software to analyze the subject’s ethnicity, facial features, age, skin tone, and more to optimize images to perfection. There’s a choice between 6GB or 8GB of RAM with both packing a 3,800 mAh battery. However, there aren’t any immediate plans for the double-screen Chinese smartphone to reach the global market.
