Novitec Refines Ferrari’s 488 Pista With Carbon Fiber & 791HP

The German customizers at Novitec — known for refining and upgrading already-impressive vehicles into wheeled works of art — have been on a bit of a tear lately. But their latest project, an even more powerful and beautiful take on Ferrari’s 488 Pista, has got us thinking they’re just starting to hit their stride.

While at first glance it might not look like much has been done to this performance supercar, a closer inspection reveals some intriguing details. That includes additions like a house-built exhaust system, exclusive wheels and new tires, exposed carbon fiber body details and improved aerodynamics, and more. But the real star of the show can be found under the hood, as the engine has been tuned to produce 791 horsepower (up by 82) and 662 foot-pounds of torque (up by 94). That drops the 0-62 time down to just 2.7 seconds and increases the top speed to 214. This Prancing Pony is just further proof that Novitec can masterfully improve vehicles that we previously thought needed no improvements.
