Novitec’s Lightweight Carbon Tuning Pack Boosts The McLaren GT To 697HP

When it comes to high-end automotive customization, Novitec never stops. We admire their tenacity, and as such, we’ve decided to never stop covering their luxurious aftermarket enhancement kits. The latest in the company’s long line of specialty supercars is none other than McLaren’s GT, adopting a new, more aerodynamic exterior, a revised cockpit, and more horsepower than ever before.

Like many of the aftermarket projects that have come before it, Novitec has managed to massage the McLaren GT’s original powerplant to produce some attractive performance figures. Instead of the already-substantial 611-horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque that the car’s stock 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 produces from the factory, the brand has introduced three unique tuning tiers, each with their own merits and budgetary constraints. Its top-of-the-line model, however, clocks in at a modest 697-horsepower and 527 lb-ft of torque, giving it a significant boost over the original. To complement this, Novitec has introduced a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system, carbon fiber aerodynamics, upper air intakes, and a bespoke body kit that was tested (and developed) in its wind tunnel specifically for the McLaren GT. Inside, the car’s updated cockpit now comes with premium Alcantara leather upholstery, which can be ordered in a variety of different colors and patterns. Head to the company’s website if you’re looking to inquire.
