When McLaren created the 570S GT4, it did so with an unerring motive — to make it one of the most powerful (and celebrated) vehicles within the world of GT4 racing. It didn’t disappoint. It was so successful, in fact, that the brand built a street-faring model known as the 620R, promising that only 225 models would ever reach the showroom floor. Now, Novitec has had a chance to flex its muscles yet again with another transcendental McLaren tune.
The Bavarian brand always dresses to impress, and its bespoke take on the McLaren 620R is no different. Forgoing the car’s original 611 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, Novitec has massaged the race-inspired chassis to produce a staggering 701 hp, courtesy of specialized ECU mapping. But that’s not all. Throttle response is also improved alongside the 620R’s new NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust system, lower ride height, and featherlight catalytic converters, which accompany a bevy of carbon-clad components for additional weight savings. Within, a lavish selection of premium Alcantara leather adds a premium touch to the already-luxurious supercar. Head to Novitec’s website to see the sleek platform in all its glory.
