Ferrari currently produces some of the most exacting, potent, and high-performance vehicles on the planet. So, needless to say, managing to massage more power from the Prancing Horse’s engines is no easy feat (to put it mildly). Despite the monumental undertaking, famed tuning outfit, NOVITEC has managed to routinely bestow the Italian marque’s latest and greatest rides with even more hair-raising performance capabilities and power outputs, most recently with Ferrari’s 812 GTS.
Thanks to a new cat-con, an F1-inspired exhaust system, and a matching ECU, NOVITEC’s kitted 812 GTS affords the $365K Italian supercar’s 6.5L V-12 with nearly 40 more horsepower and an extra 25ft-lbs of torque, bringing the total output up to 828hp and 554ft-lbs — both of which are unlocked at or below the 9,000rpm mark. Still paired with the same seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the naturally aspirated V-12 now offers sub-three-second 0-60mph times and a top speed well over 200mph. Other noteworthy additions include Vossen x NOVITEC (21” front, 22” rear) forged center-locking wheels, a vented hood, mirror caps, lips, and side skirts, and several other aero bits were wind-tunnel-developed and crafted from carbon fiber, bespoke interior options, and an upgraded suspension kit that lowers the 812 GTS by around 1.4” and also automatically lifts the front end using a hydraulic system after it breaks the 50mph barrier.
