First established in 2001, Noveske Rifleworks is an Oregon-based firearms outfit best-known for its top-shelf AR-15s. Though for the 2021 summer season, the self-described “All-American Badass Rifle Company” has opted to mix things up, partnering with California-based outdoor lifestyle brand, URT Inc. to deliver a modernized take on a retro pump-action squirt gun.
Known as the “Water Hog 5000 sqURT rifle,” this AR-style water gun measures 29.5” in length and is manually pressurized via a shotgun-style sliding fore-stock. Modeled after one of Noveske’s actual long-guns, the Water Hog 5K sports a slew of impressive (albeit nonfunctioning) details such as a forward assist button, magazine release, and Picatinny rails. The squirt gun comes with a removable 24oz tank that’s emptied via a trigger-activated firing method that shoots a continuous stream of water. Appropriate for shooters ages six and older, the Noveske x URT Water Hog 5000 sqURT Rifle is available for preorder now with pricing set at $43 and deliveries scheduled to commence in mid-August of 2021.
