With summer wrapping up and cool weather rapidly approaching, it’s almost time to turn our focus toward the acquisition of winter-ready outerwear. Copenhagen’s Norse Projects has spent the better part of the year preparing for the company’s biggest season. And thanks to an interesting partnership with British Millerain, we’re able to feast our eyes on a new collection of purposeful garments well before the cold front hits.
The Norse Projects x British Millerain Fall 2019 Collection is comprised of two new jackets — the Elias Cambric and Nunk Cambric — which arrive alongside the companies’ traditional Cambric Cap, and a winter-ready Flap Cap. Drawing on Mellerain’s heritage as the original manufacturer of waxed cotton fabrics in the UK, the pair have opted to refine the jackets with modern implementations like Polartec fleece insulation, 6-ounce waxed cotton, and a removable liner. To complement the line’s primary offerings, the Cambric Cap and Flap Cap adopt many of the same qualities, offering wearers a water-repellent finish, tonal embroidery, and leather accents, alongside a comfortable Polartec fleece. The Fall 2019 Collection is available now via Norse Projects’ website and starts at around $125.
