Nomad’s Limited USA-Made Horween Leather EDC Wallets Are Handcrafted

While we’re admittedly big fans of modern tactical wallets, there’s still no replacement for a classic artisan-made leather bifold. And one product that perfectly encapsulates this notion is Nomad’s new limited edition Shell Cordovan wallet.

This all-new wallet is constructed from Shell Cordovan Horween: an ultra-premium, hand-worked and dyed leather with an extraordinarily compact fiber structure that mitigates cracking or creasing. This top-shelf Horween leather can have its finish restored repeatedly, too, practically guaranteeing a lifetime of use. Made by hand in Chicago by the Ashland Leather Co., the wallet can accommodate up to eight cards, as well as a few bills. In addition to each specimen boasting slight imperfections and variations in the leather, the Shell Cordovan will also increasingly take on a mild patina over time. Offered in black or brown (technically color #8 deep burgundy Shell Cordovan), the wallet is limited to 250 units per color, both of which are priced at $250. From each sale, $100 also goes directly to the National Urban League: a historic civil rights and urban advocacy organization bolstering local community development and education in underserved areas.
