The ocean is undoubtedly the most alien place on Earth. But that’s a part of what makes it so intriguing to us. And getting down there has just been made a little bit easier and a lot more tactical, thanks to Nitecore’s new DL10 diving flashlight.

Made from an HAIII military-grade anodized aerospace aluminum alloy and with a double o-ring construction, this flashlight boasts a waterproof rating of IPX8 – meaning it can be used under up to 30 meters of water without incident. It also has an output range of up to 1,000 lumens via a beefy CREE emitter that also features an underwater photography-friendly auxiliary red light feature that can be used at simultaneously to bring out the natural colors beneath the sea. It even comes with a detachable diving pointer to help you avoid making direct contact with dangerous objects and organisms. When paired with a maximum runtime of up to 9 hours and a beam-distance of 223 meters, the $90 DL10 makes the ocean your playground.
