Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Project

Those looking for the ultimate adventure mobile needn’t look any further than the upcoming New York International Auto Show where Nissan is planning on introducing two of their special Rogue project vehicles. One of which – dubbed the Trail Warrior – looks to be a sure show stopper at this year’s event.

What stands out the most with this wild ride are obviously the snow/sand tracks, known as the DOMINATOR Tracks compliments of American Track Truck, that measure in at 48 inches long, 30 inches high, and 15 inches wide. Naturally, the suspension and wheel wells were altered to accommodate this fine adjustment. However, the drivetrain – a 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder with 170 horses under the hood and 175 lb-ft of torque – remains intact. Nissan did hook this ride up with some adventure equipment to make traversing in the backcountry a bit easier. Included on the list are tinted headlights, an ARB Gear Basket, LED lights, custom fender flares, and a Warn 4K winch. No word on whether or not the Trail Warrior will become a production vehicle in the near future but with a little inspiration and capital, you could very well trick out your own truck in a similar manner.
