It may be “just a Nissan” to some, but for automotive enthusiasts, the Nissan GT-R is one of the greatest cars to ever hit the production scene – regardless of make. This year the team at Newport Convertible Engineering will be chopping the top off the beloved GT-R for a Cabrio version that is sure to cause some conversation among auto fans.

Known for creating prestigious convertibles, the Huntington Beach based shop decided it was time to take a stab at the GT-R. Details are rather sparse at this time, but the brand did reveal that the Nissan GT-R Cabrio will be produced in limited quantities across 3 locations worldwide including California, Spain, and Dubai.
