Nikola NZT Electric UTV

Nikola has been teasing the outdoor and off-road communities with plans for an all-electric UTV for several years now. But they didn’t want to bring anything to market that didn’t meet their absurdly-high standards. So they took their NZ1 back to the drawing board and improved it even further. Now, they’re finally ready to release it as the NZT all-electric UTV.

Based on the same familiar platform, this new-and-improved edition still gets a powerplant that’s good for a whopping 590 horsepower and 775 foot-pounds of torque — the kinds of figures we’d expect to see in a trophy truck and not so much a side-by-side. That electric motor system also gives the NZT a blistering 0-60 time of 4-seconds-flat and an effective range of 150 miles, which is certainly nothing to scoff at. Mate that to FOX 3.0 Internal Bypass Shocks, a 13″ full-color touchscreen infotainment display, all-wheel-drive, Kevlar-reinforced tires, and an optional hardtop trim with power windows and climate control and it’s clear that the NZT could easily dominate the UTV category upon its release. Pricing starts at $80,000.

Purchase: $80,000+
