Nike’s Weatherproof React Boot Was Built For Urban Exploration

Earlier this year, Nike revealed that they’d be working alongside the technical outerwear proprietor, UNDERCOVER, on a transcendental collection. With an obvious focus on urban utilitarianism, the garment-filled release arrives full of punk-inspired clothing, accessories, and footwear, with the standout item taking the form of the React Boot.

In an uncanny mixture of fashion and function, Nike and UNDERCOVER have visualized an urban boot that will turn heads wherever you go, while also providing unparalleled weather protection. A large forefoot zip runs down the React’s leather and nubuck-adorned upper — providing a tactical accent to its surrounding TPU straps, reinforced tooling, and comfortable sole. Much like the company’s other React offerings, this complex-looking sneaker boot places an emphasis on capable implementation and all-day wear thanks to its React cushioning, weatherproof exterior, and stylish silhouette. The React Boot will launch alongside Nike x UNDERCOVER’s alternative items on November 30.
