Since its founding in 2014, Notre has gone from a small neighborhood shop to a leading influence in the greater Chicago fashion scene. Key to the retailer’s success has been its commitment to the local community; for even despite the staggering growth that the store’s experienced, outreach projects have remained at the top of its priorities.
For its latest collaboration, Notre has partnered with Nike on a pair of Dunk Hi’s that pay homage to classic midwestern workwear. Available in both tan and blue colorways, they feature a heavy canvas construction with a shaggy suede finish — a combination that’s naturally susceptible to color and texture variations, ensuring that no two pairs are alike. And these Dunk Hi’s aren’t just hard-working imitators in disguise. On the contrary, because of the materials used and their triple-stitched reinforcement, they’ll only look better the more they’re worn. Finished off with a workshirt tongue patch and a Notre-inspired Swoosh, the result is a pair of shoes that are blue-collar through and through. Both pairs drop at Notre on January 21st, with a wider release of the blue version scheduled for the 23rd.
