Nike And J. Crew Bring Back The Iconic Killshot Sneaker In ‘Sail Green’

May 13, 2019

Category: Style

Amidst a neverending stream of iconic collaborations between Nike and the fashion industry’s top designers, the partnership between the cultural juggernaut and modern-day trendsetters, J. Crew, has fared exceptionally well. Nike’s minimalist, retro-styled Killshot 2 was released to substantial praise — and now, the classic sneaker is receiving a coveted new colorway.

In an effort to refresh the popular shoe for the upcoming spring season, Nike and J. Crew have joined forces once again to adorn the Killshot 2 in an attractive Sail Green swathe. Alongside the sneaker’s iconic white upper and gum sole, the subtle new colorway adds some much needed “pop” to the all-rounder’s drab exterior, while a padded footbed, low-profile design, and retro styling help the shoe to retain everything that made it special upon its initial release, more than three decades ago. The Killshot 2 “Sail Green” shoes are primed for release on J. Crew’s website this week.
