Nike Unveils A Duo Of Durable & Grippy Colorful Trail Running Sneakers

Starting with the first Pegasus-inspired sketch in 1984, the Nike Trail range has today grown into an off-road training powerhouse, with the division continuing to innovate in the sector and push the envelope. And the outfit’s latest advancements in this realm come in the form of the new Nike Wildhorse and Air Zoom Terra Kiger 6.

Both new models now on their sixths iterations, the primary focus for the latest redesign of these trail running shoes was almost entirely centered around outright performance and generally improving the off-the-tarmac running experience. The Kiger 6 has been bestowed with more durable mesh uppers that help to keep pebbles and debris out, as well as a redesigned toebox to further mitigate hotspots and isolated front eyelets that allow for a snugger fit. The Wildhorse has been treated to a raised cuff that also helps to keep dirt and debris out, as well as a revised heel pod with firmer (Nike React) foam that affords improved stability, and a new outsole lug design that not only improves traction and durability but also helps to lessen dirt and mud clogging. Containment on the Wildhorse has also been improved thanks to a new lateral fit band setup. Both colorful new models are up for sale starting March 5th, 2020.
