Nike SF AF-1 High

Nike’s Air Force 1 is turning 35 this year. To celebrate this incredibly popular sneaker, the famous Northwestern footwear behemoth has announced the upcoming release of their new version of the SF AF-1 High sneakers.

This time around Nike really leaned-in on the more boot-like aspects of the silhouette. Released in three different colorways, Total Orange, Black/Gum Medium Brown, and Rattan, the shoe boasts an upper made from ballistic grade nylon mesh and premium leather that goes up well past the ankle. Rather than opting for a traditional lacing system, these sneakerboots use a combination zipper and thick rope laces that give them a quasi-militaristic vibe. In addition to their martial look, the lacing system offers a level of customization thanks to the nylon webbing along the ankle of the shoe. To drive it all home, the sneakers sport the beloved Air Force sole unit and boast a big, and a brash AF-1 logo along the ankle. Look for these online on November 2.
