Nike SB Air Jordan 1

Even after nearly 20 years (with its original release date being in 1985), the Air Jordan 1 remains one of the most popular silhouettes on the sneaker scene. For 2014 Jordan Brand is doing something up a bit different, teaming up with their skateboard brethren for the Nike SB Air Jordan 1.

With the design being helmed by multimedia artist Craig Stecyk (who also happens to be the former co-owner of Jeff Ho Surboards and Zephyr Production), the sneaker is Nike’s answer to the “needs of skaters.” The shoe looks just like it would sound, an AJ 1 infused with Nike SB characteristics. The upper is based in a green and black spray paint inspired color scheme with AJ One SB stamped across the heel, and a contrasting white midsole finishing off the look. The highly anticipated shoe has been given a March 15th release date, and will retail for $140.
