Nike has really pushed the boundaries of what we would consider a traditional running shoe silhouette in the past 5 years. The fact that a running boot is now relatively commonplace is a testament to the ingenuity being put into their shoes. It is exactly that new technology and attention to detail that makes the Lunarepic Flyknit MP high-top not only breathable, but dynamic and comfortable.

Constructed with a single-piece upper, the LunarEpic looks at least partly inspired by the Nike Free Mercurial and Magista. Like its aforementioned brethren, the upper is engineered to be solid, but light enough to give the shoe a ‘barely there’ feel, utilizing a mixture of Flyknit and Flywire technologies. When running, the proprietary Lunarlon midsole provides an even distribution of weight for a soft but supportive feel while the outsole’s laser cuts help absorb impact.
