Nike Kobe 9 KRM EXT Black Mamba

The Los Angeles Lakers aren’t off to a great start this year, but the Kobe show must go on. The Swoosh has released the ninth iteration of Bryant’s signature silhouette in the Nike Kobe 9 KRM EXT Black Mamba.

We’ve seen a ton of different variations of Kobe’s nine signature sneakers, but nothing quite like this. Nike has taken Black Mamba’s nickname very literally on these kicks. The upper has been murdered out in black, with a scale-inspired texture draping the entire shoe while a premium leather constructed tongue and topographic tread pattern on the outsole round out the cosmetic end of things. As far as performance is concerned, each sneaker is equipped with Flywire to promote lockdown up top, and Lunarlon for comfort and cushioning down low. These sneakers are extremely limited, and will retail for $275 when they are released on December 31st, 2014. [Purchase]
