Nike Hypervenom Phantom Transform

Even if your footwork is nothing special on the pitch, Nike Soccer has a new way for your kicks to steal the show. It’s called the Hypervenom Phantom Transform, and if you can recall those Hypercolor shirts and shorts from the late 80s-early 90s, you’ll see the lineage.

Put these cleats on at first they’ll see black, but within moments, as your feet heat fill ‘em up, things begin to change. The shoe’s upper is made with a heat-activated material that turns bright orange when it’s worn—think video game lava level orange. Take ‘em off and it’s back to basic black. The Phantom Transform is a limited edition shoe, so act fast if you’re looking to spice up your soccer game. The shoes will become available through select Nike retailers on May 14th. [Purchase]
