Nike Free Trainer 1.0
The Oregon-based crew at Nike is looking to create a more barefoot-inspired experience during your next workout with the newly released Nike Free Trainer 1.0.
Typically the Swoosh focuses on shoes that let you soar through the air, but not this time around. With a focus on staying closer to the ground, these shoes could be the best trainers dropped this year. The minimalist silhouette is both durable and lightweight, with a Flywire infused upper providing lockdown and lateral stability during explosive movements. A rubber outsole rounds things out down low, forcing the wearer to use more of the foot muscles to grip and balance. The first colorway is dubbed the “Chalk for your Feet,” and officially released at select retailers today with a price of $150. [Purchase]
