Nike Flyknit Elite
It can be easy to forget the sheer breadth of Nike and its offerings. One week they’re releasing a brand new runner, and the next they’re doing something new in soccer. Just recently, the athletic apparel giant unveiled a brand new golfing shoe, the Flyknit Elite, featuring a potentially game-changing technology.
For the longest time, golf shoes have had spikes on the bottoms to provide for solid grip through the swing – but this offering from Nike changes things up with a new technology called Articulated Integration Traction. The thinking behind the tech is that these protruding slats on the outsole will give the golfer traction while keeping the bottoms of the feet closer to the ground. Along with this cool new tech, the shoe is outfitted with a Flyknit upper constructed specifically for golfing and a Lunarlon midsole for comfort on the green. Prices start at $270. [Purchase]
