Following eight years of research and over 1,700 hours of testing and experimentation, the brand has finally revealed its “Flight Ball” — a revolutionary soccer ball crafted for unparalleled control while on the pitch.
The Nike Flight Ball is the result of true technological craftsmanship. Boasting over 68 different iterations since its conceptualization, and taking on countless identities, this one-of-a-kind soccer ball brings a series of molded grooves, 3D-printed ink, and the brand’s proprietary Aerowsculpt technology, which gifts 30% truer flight than a traditional soccer ball. To achieve this, the ball’s bespoke architecture promotes the disruption of air across its surface, resulting in less drag. It’s also been optimized with a fuse-welded, four-panel construction, as well as Nike’s All Conditions Control (ACC) technology, helping sports enthusiasts to find the perfect sweet spot for each and every kick, pass, or volley.
