Nike Blazer Mid 77 Sneakers

With a handful of the industry’s most prominent shoemakers focusing on progressive offerings for the coming year, Nike has decided to take a bold step back from the rat-race with their latest mid-top sneaker. The new Blazer Mid 77 is a retro throwback with a surprisingly large inheritance of the brand’s vintage roots — complete with a timeless new colorway.

The classic Blazer Mid has been upgraded in the best way possible, utilizing a tastefully designed white upper and weathered midsole to give the shoe a stylish look without all of the additional streetwear elements. The minimalistic silhouette of the sneaker is actually one of the Mid 77’s greatest strengths, utilizing an exposed tongue construction and Nike’s iconic swoosh in “Habanero Red” as an homage to one of the shoe’s original colorways — pairing perfectly with the Blazer’s mostly-white color palette. The sneaker is slated to hit Nike’s website in early 2019.
