Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Canvas Sneakers

Nike has been on the top of the world lately, especially when it comes to their relentless assault on the sneaker space. Although the company has already taken part in a shocking number of releases this year, the newly revealed Blazer Mid ‘77 Canvas Collection stands apart — offering consumers an alternative to the brand’s more rambunctious colorways.

Nike is bringing three different colors to the new Canvas Collection — a classic, clean-cut “Black” variant, the light, and airy “Sail,” and “Pink Foam” — all of which sport the brand’s newly introduced canvas upper with hairy suede overlays. A decorated “Blazer 1977” stitched typography adorns the heel of the shoe, referencing the company’s first-ever basketball-oriented footwear. To finish things off, an enlarged Swoosh sits atop the ‘77’s defined canvas upper — bringing a modern feel to the Blazer’s classic silhouette. The throwback sneakers will be available for purchase via Nike on April 12 for $100.
