Nike introduced the very first generation of its Pegasus shoe back in 1983, giving runners a performance lightweight running shoe at an accessible price and kicking off a now-legendary product range that’s steadily evolved over the last 38 years. And after previously debuting the Air Zoom Pegasus 37 last April, the activewear brand has now revealed the latest iteration of the every-man running shoe with the new Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38.
The new 38-spec retains its Pegasus 37 predecessor’s tuned midsole, full-length Nike React foam cushioning, and energy-return-boosting forefoot Zoom Air, but now sports an all-new last design with a roomier toe box, soft and breathable sandwich mesh material, a separated, foam-equipped tongue, and a new individual midfoot webbing system affords a more precise fit. In addition to being customizable on the Nike By You Builder, the Pegasus 38 will also be offered in a lace-free FlyEase zippered-entry variant. While pricing has yet to be revealed, the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 will be available to Nike Members in Europe on April 15 and American members on April 22 before its global release on April 29.
