Nike ACG Pays Homage To Japan’s Volcanic Range With The ‘Mt. Fuji’ Pack

Nike’s outdoor-focused ACG line has always enamored us with its technical releases, especially when those releases are inspired by (and tailored toward) a specific area of the world. The company’s most recent reveal — the ‘Mt. Fuji’ Collection — is an homage to Japan’s most notable mountain, resulting in cutting-edge garments that are adorned in geographic print and lava-like camo.

The Nike ACG Mt. Fuji Collection was crafted to complement the brand’s 2020 Fall ACG lineup and features everything that you’ll need for cold (and warm) weather excursions. Within, a selection of durable, wind- and water-resistant ponchos, slip-ons, sandals, pouches, overalls, shorts, hats, and vests make their debut, with each adopting the collection’s terrain-inspired lava camo, a woven label paying respect to Japan’s natural landscapes, and functional components that have been crafted to take on the off-grid environment. But don’t worry; if you’re a city dweller who’s looking to enhance his wardrobe with some technical, street-savvy garments, the Mt. Fuji collection is equally-at-home within the urban environment. The collection is slated for launch at select Nike retailers on August 8.
