Nike’s outdoor-inspired ACG branch has introduced a handful of our favorite items in its recent collections, and as 2020 comes to an abrupt end, the outfit is showing no signs of relent. This is especially true for its recently-revealed Holiday 2020 capsule — a collection of sporty, hard-wearing garments and footwear that pays homage to Oregon’s “Smith Rock.”
With each piece taking on the name of a trail in the vicinity of Smith Rock, the collection is an undeniable celebration of one of Oregon’s most recognizable areas. A large portion of the collection seeks to prove its trail-faring capabilities through the healthy implementation of GORE-TEX, which can be found in the waterproof and windproof Misery Range jacket, as well as the versatile, grip-focused waffle pattern outsole and multi-directional traction pattern of the Mountain Fly GORE-TEX boot. An insulated Rope De Dope jacket and recycled Polartec Wolf Tree hoodie make their debut alongside an updated iteration of the brand’s lauded Air Nasu sneaker. Look for the trail-trekking collection to hit Nike’s website on November 12.
