Taking to the skies in a private jet is pretty cool. But you know what private jets can’t do? Go underwater. Well, now you can enjoy all the luxury of a Gulfstream in a format that can take you beneath the waves. Introducing the Neyk Submarine.
From appropriately named Netherlands brand Ocean Submarine comes what might actually be the coolest luxury vehicle we’ve ever seen. Over the course of 8 years, the brand collaborated with Rolls Royce, MTU, and Bosch to develop this modular bespoke private seafaring vessel. It’s said to be able to hit speeds of up to 12 knots, depths of 150 meters (almost 500 feet), and carry 10 passengers and two crewmen while doing so. It also benefits from a fully featured interior, which includes a bar, a full galley, a library and – if included in the build – a front-end viewport where two people can sit and take in all the ocean has to offer. A full-scale prototype is expected to launch sometime next year.
