New Balance Fresh Foam Paradox Boots

It is official. Next week the clocks are going to be falling back an hour, meaning that our afternoons are going to be shorter, darker, and colder. If you aren’t prepared for this coming winter already, it may be time you picked up a new pair of boots like these Fresh Foam Paradox boots from New Balance.

This sneaker boot from the Boston based footwear brand has seen a number of different colorways in its short history, but this may be one of our favorites. The olive green on the waterproof suede and ballistic nylon upper, laces, and fresh-foam mid give the boot an outdoorsy feel as opposed to more of an urban vibe that you’d expect from a sneaker boot. The only places on the shoe that don’t feature the organic olive green are the metal eyelets along with the durable and grippy outsole designed for use in wintery slushy weather. Of course, the real standout on this boot is the technology it features. From the very outset the Fresh Foam mid has been lauded for its smooth, and comfortable ride. Initially introduced as a technology to be included with a runner, it is a perfect fit for this cold weather pair of kicks. Prices are set at $150. [Purchase]
