Neurable’s Smart Headphones Use Brainwave Sensors To Keep You Focused

If you’re someone who has trouble staying focused while at work or while pursuing creative endeavors, then a new pair of headphones may be just what you need. But not any pair of headphones. Neurable’s new Enten smart headphones actually monitor your brainwaves to optimize your working environment.

The headphones utilize EEG sensors in the earpads that are able to pick up brain signals to know whether you’re stressed, distracted, or in the zone. When linked to Neurable’s app, you can learn how your level of focus ebbs and flows throughout the day, and make changes to your routine as needed. Or, if you prefer a more hands-off approach, Enten can do some of the work for you. If you’re too distracted and not in a good place mentally, the headphones will prompt you to take a break. If you’re in a groove, they’ll cut out background noise and silence notifications to keep you from being interrupted. The Enten headphones even track what songs keep you focused, and can make music recommendations based on this data. The Neurable Enten headphones are currently raising funds on Indiegogo, and a contribution of at least $199 is required to get your hands on a pair.
