Nerf Mega Twinshock

Nerf guns will never not be cool. From age 8 well into your 80s, it is impossible to resist the allure of squeezing off darts across an office or back yard with one of these things. Especially when it is with something like the new Nerf Mega Twinshock gun.

News of this gun started to leak earlier this month in the lead up to the coming NYC Toy Fair. Details weren’t totally clear at first, but it looked like the 10 barreled shotgun would be able to fire one dart at a time when trigger was half pulled, and two at a time when pulled all the way. Now that we’re closer to the fair, official news has come out from Nerf both confirming those reports, and including details on additional features. For instance, if you’re being closed in on by your coworkers you can simply hold down on the trigger and slam fire all of the darts in one fowl swoop (10 will be included in the pack). When these hit the shelves sometime this year they’re expected to sell for $40. [H/T: Wired]
