In an effort to make one of the most well-known off-road vehicles Nascar-friendly, Yasid Design decided to play with some renderings of what they believe this marriage could produce. This result got our heads spinning in fascination, especially wherein laid the conceptual motivation. As for Yasid Design, it was just another day at the office for their designers.
From the looks of the rendering, the Defender is dropped significantly, removing its off-road prowess while making the ride track-ready. The rest of the body keeps the classic Defender shape though some steelies and a chop top were added because hey, why not? It’s still up in the air whether or not Land Rover aficionados will support or reject Yasid Design’s interpretation of the vehicle, however, based on the designer’s response that called into question the possibility of other vehicles following suit, we may see a few more suggestions from the London-based design studio before too long.
