My Medic Unveils A Weatherproof And Off-Road-Ready First-Aid Kit Lineup

Sarah and Ryan Welch were inspired to create the My Medic brand several years ago after Sarah’s father’s car was hit by a semi-truck, resulting in him slowly bleeding out as nobody on scene possessed a first aid kit and emergency first responders took roughly 40 minutes to arrive on scene. due to the crash’s remote location. In an effort to prevent needless fatalities of this sort, the couple founded My Medic, which has quickly become an industry leader in the FAK space with a wide range of top-notch, USA-made med packs.

For 2021, the brand is debuting its “Stormproof” Series, a new all-in-one first aid kit range that comes in a waterproof pouch with welded seams and water-resistant zippers. The series is comprised of three models; the Universal kit; the Auto Medic kit; and the Moto Medic kit. The first kit, as the name suggests, is a universal FAK, while the latter two were created for on and off-road car travel and on and off-road motorcycle travel respectively. In addition to sporting MOLLE webbing loops on either side and a carabiner loop, the pouches feature Velcro-backed straps that allow the modular kits to be customized to suit the needs of its user. Available now in black or red, all three kits are priced at $150.
