Backed by both HENNLICH S.R.O. and Zwilling GmbH, MXM is a brand-new Czech German start-up specializing in fully electric dirtbikes and speedway racers. And while MXM’s first production model is still a ways off on the horizon, the fledgling firm has nonetheless revealed images and specs for the prototype of its inaugural eMXer.
Clearly taking aim at the 450cc motocross segment, the MXM proto bike is constructed around an aluminum-reinforced steel chassis and swing-arm that were designed completely in-house by MXM and have been paired with a twin-shock rear suspension setup and an inverted front-end. Powering the machine is an advanced electric motor with an MXM-developed primary transmission that draws from a 7,000Wh battery pack. While the brand did reveal that its batteries will be swappable on the fly, MXM has yet to cite a range for the bike, though the specs the company has revealed thus far have been beyond impressive, with the prototype sporting a 242lbs curb weight and a power output of 56.3hp and an absolutely insane 737.5 or more ft-lbs of torque.
