Founded in 1945 by Count Domenico Agusta, MV Agusta is one of the world’s most elite and exotic motorcycle marques, rivaled only by the likes of Ducati. And with 2020 marking the 75th anniversary of the Varese firm, MV Agusta is marking this illustrious milestone with a limited run of special edition versions of its neo-retro Superveloce 800.
Christened the Superveloce 75 Anniversario, the F3-based supersport pays homage to the race bikes from MV’s golden era of competition which included an unprecedented 17 consecutive 500cc world championship titles. Wearing a classic Italian tricolor livery, the 75 Anniversario features beefy 24-spoke wheels, an asymmetrical triple Arrow exhaust setup—another nod to vintage MV race bikes—and a plaque denoting each specimen’s production number. And, alongside indicators, mirrors, and a license plate hanger, this special edition model is also sold with a framed commemorative wall plaque. Limited to 75 units worldwide, the Superveloce 75 Anniversario will only be available for a 75-hour window starting at midnight on November 15 on the company’s website, where pricing starts at approximately $29,570.
