As menacing as it is attractive, it’s not every day you come across a bike builder willing to tackle a custom job with an MV Agusta as the centerpiece. However, when you’re Winston Yeh of Taiwan-based Rough Crafts, playing it safe is never really the desired move. Such is the case with this predator-like beast of a bike, a Brutale 800 RR in disguise.
Dubbed “Ballistic Trident,” this bike certainly has that dark iconic Rough Crafts sadistic appeal they’re known for in the bike world. The most obvious feature here is the bike’s modified carbon fiber dustbin fairing, which serves as a stylish tribute to vintage racing and also gives the bike a one-of-a-kind appearance. Rough Crafts also designed a pair of 17-inch wheels, also inspired by vintage GP bikes, wrapped within some Pirelli Diablo Superbike tires. The devilish bike also boasts gold Ohlins FGR forks, custom brakes courtesy of Beringer, and it’s powered by a 12-valve, three cylinder engine that puts out 140 horses of pure power. Scary. Sleek. Innovative. Yep, that’s pretty much Rough Crafts in a nutshell. [H/T: Bike Exif]
