If you know what to look for, the specs of this portable torch all check out: a variable output of up to 160-lumens (across 3 settings) via a Calibre 515 Light Engine, power drawn from the brand’s CR2-sized MPC-CR2L Power Cell which can last for months, and your choice of either a titanium or copper body. But what really makes this light special is how they tested its toughness. You see, the brand sent the Aeon Mk. III unprotected up to 100,000 feet in the air (that’s practically outer space) where it was exposed to temperatures as low as -54 degrees Fahrenheit and it survived to function afterward.
