MummyPod Hammock Sleeping Bag System

Jul 5, 2017

Category: Gear

The only problem with hammock camping is that sometimes, your campsite won’t have trees available for you to set up your sleeping area. Thanks to MummyPod, however, you can sleep on the ground or in the trees with no hassle.

This versatile outdoor sleeping system is the first ever made for both hammock and ground camping. The MummyPod comes in a compression sack just like any normal sleeping bag, but the foot box zips open to allow a hammock to be passed through it. Once you cinch down the top and bottom drawstrings the bag traps in warm air, keeping you toasty throughout the night. Sudden rain storm or a bit of dew pass through at night? No need to worry. The material that makes up the bag is made from a robust VitalDry DWR coating while the 800+ fill is made from a hydrophobic down – ensuring you’ll stay warm no matter what. Temperature ratings on these bags start at 30 and go all the way up to 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
