Mulgari’s 450HP Carbon Fiber BMW Icon03 Is Faster Than An M2

British auto tuner Mulgari Automotive has been in the shop for months, conjuring a bespoke BMW M240i. Our patience has been rewarded with the Mulgari BMW Icon03, which boasts more power than the M2.

The overall design of the Icon03 pays tribute to the BMW heritage. The angular wheel arch flares resemble the E30 M3 box arches, the front wing winglets are influenced by the E9 CSL, and the carbon fiber roof takes inspiration form the E46 M3 CSL. Mulgari also tweaked the chassis and suspension for improved handling. Under the hood, you’ll find a B58 inline-six turbo engine with 450 bhp and 435 lb-ft of torque. And the ride has a brilliant Akrapovic exhaust system to match the stellar performance with amazing sound. Taking a look at the cabin, you’ll find Recaro seats, carbon fiber shift paddles, and a flat-bottom steering wheel. To showcase the car’s performance upgrades, the Icon03 will make its way around Nurburgring to set a lap time in July. There’s no price tag on this beauty yet, but we do know it will be limited to just 25 examples.
